Possibly pirate copy?

While I have not had a chance to read through the whole book, what I have read I like. The book presents the selection of engineering materials in a well organized and clearly written format. In the sections that are not covered as thoroughly, there is enough information provided to enable the reader to get a good general understanding and to find and evaluate additional references.
The reason I did not give this five stars is that I am not sure I got a genuine copy from the lawful publisher. The title on the spine of the book is "Selection and Use of Engineering Materials", whereas on the cover the word "Materials" is missing. I find it hard to believe that the lawful publisher would leave out a word in the title on the cover of the book, so I suspect I got a cheap reprint from somewhere. I have not been able to find any other differences between the book I bought and the pdf I was reading while I waited for my copy to arrive. I bought my copy used through Amazon, but not from Amazon directly.
